Is this an official Anthropic product?
No. Claude Switch is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. You need your own Claude accounts and the official Claude Desktop app.
Does it work with my Claude subscription?
Yes. Each profile signs into a regular Claude account (free or paid) through the official app. Claude Switch only isolates the profiles — it doesn't touch your subscription.
What happens when Claude Desktop updates?
Nothing you'd notice: each profile checks the installed Claude Desktop on launch and rebuilds itself automatically if it changed.
How many Macs can I use it on?
One license activates on up to 3 Macs. Need more? Email us.
How is my login data stored?
Each profile keeps its own isolated data directory on your Mac. Profile sessions are stored with file-level encryption instead of the macOS keychain (a technical requirement of profile isolation) — everything stays local on your machine.
Can I try it before buying?
